When people think of Arlene, the first word that comes to mind is “nurturing”. Fondly referred to as Ms. Arlene by many of her colleagues, Arlene is also affectionately known as “Ma” to many foster children that she has fostered over the years. Arlene hails from Jamaica, but has called the bay area home for most of her life. Arlene is passionate about helping foster youth in their transition from foster care to adulthood. She currently spends her time heading up recruiting families to foster children. In her free time, if Arlene is not at foster community event, you can find her cooking or reading.
